MULTIUNIT HOUSING: SENIOR & DISABLED AFFORDABLE HOUSING

32 MARION STREET

The modernization of Brookline Housing Authority’s Colonel Floyd Apartments involved razing multiple walk-up buildings with one, 115-unit elevator building to provide fully accessible apartments, common spaces, fitness room, library, and nurses’ offices and support aging in place for senior and disabled residents.

RBLA worked with Davis Square Architects and the design team to bring this project through the MA Comprehensive permit process and detail exterior amenities including a dining patio, walking paths, seating areas, labyrinth, and plant beds.
